United have taken steps to fix up the trialist who scored in the Under-21 win over Dunfermline at Tannadice on Monday night. The foreigner, who the Club will not name prior to any signing, turned in an impressive performance and scored the game's only goal, a spectacular 25-yarder, midway through the second half.
After the game manager Alex Smith opened talks with the 22-year-old about a permanent move to Tannadice. "Right from early in the match he showed up very well and he should fit in well here if we can tie up a deal," said Alex.
The other trialist who took part against the Pars is unlikely to be staying on in the long term.
