Glenn Middleton staked his claim in our 100 Club during this month's trip to Celtic Park!

Since arriving at Tannadice in the summer of 2022, Glenn has become an important part of the squad, known for his energy, creativity, and key contributions in big moments.

He opened his United account in sensational style, finding the net with a stunning strike during our home tie against AZ Alkmaar in the Third Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

In a season to be forgotten, Middleton notched in with five goals and two assists including a stunning freekick in our home rout of Kilmarnock in November 2022.

In search of an instant return to the top table of Scottish football, Middleton got our Championship title triumph off to a flyer when he found the net against Arbroath just 11 minutes into the opening day fixture.

He celebrated his 50th appearance in style, playing a key role in a commanding 5-0 victory over Partick Thistle at Firhill. In a standout season featuring four goals and 13 assists, he cemented his status as the league’s most influential playmaker.

Back in the big time, Middleton has been called upon 17 times on league business - making headlines once more with a sublime solo effort against his former club St Johnstone - a worthy winner of our Tony Macaroni Goal of the Month - in a busy festive schedule.

The twenty-five-year-old spoke with pride about his journey so far after being presented with his 100-Club shirt ahead of our clash with Rangers.

"It’s a really proud moment for me. For all the ups and downs, I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here.

"When I signed I moved to the area and I really wanted to give it my best shot. It may not always go right but it's never for a lack of trying. It's been a real period of personal growth for me and I feel I have matured both as a player and a man during my time so far."

"Between now and the end of the season, it’s about building on things and taking steps forward whenever I can and I want to show what I’m capable of. Hopefully, I can continue contributing and we can finish off the season on a high!"
