DARREN WATSON JOINS FORFAR ATHLETIC ON LOAN

Academy graduate Darren Watson will join Forfar Athletic on loan until the end of the season

The 19-year-old has recently returned from a long-term foot injury, and heads to Station Park in seek of more regular game time to aid his recovery process.

Watson made his first-team debut in December 2020 against Rangers, just 18 months on from signing his first professional contract.

Forfar Athletic have already sealed loan deals for Watson’s B-team colleagues Adam Hutchinson and Finn Robson this January, making him the third budding United youngster snapped up by former Tannadice boss Ray McKinnon.
