The end of January is finally in sight as we gear up to kick February off with a bang at home to Arbroath this Saturday.
The games have come thick and fast in the opening month of 2020, with our unbeaten league run continuing against Queen of the South, Partick Thistle and Morton as well as two matches against Hibernian in the William Hill Scottish Cup Fourth round.
While the heartbreak of an early exit from the oldest competition in world football is still fresh in the mind, it's important to take the positives from those encounters.
The battling performances the boys displayed proved that we can compete at the highest level of Scottish football and shows just how far the Club has progressed this season. But it also reminds us that the work is not done and we can continue to build higher.
With 14 league games remaining, Head Coach Robbie Neilson says he wants to finish the campaign in style and we can start this weekend against Arbroath.
United fans won't have forgotten the last time the Red Lichties visited Tannadice back in September when Lawrence Shankland scored a dramatic quick-fire double in the dying minutes of the match to secure victory.
It was a moment that will be looked back upon at the end of the season as a key point in United's league campaign.
While Dick Campbell's side currently find themselves midtable, they have struggled for recent form with just two wins from their last ten matches in all competitions.
But given the close nature of the earlier meetings this season there is no reason to doubt that this Saturday won't produce a similar encounter and another fantastic Tannadice support could make all the difference.
Please note there will be no cash gates/ticket booth for home fans. Tickets can be purchased over the counter, via telephone on (01382) 833166 (option 1) or online, which we greatly encourage. Buying ahead of matchday reduces the price of an adult ticket by £2 and that of a concession by £1.
When buying online, you can either print at home or use a smartphone to scan your QR code via the turnstile scanner. If you are purchasing multiple tickets online, each supporter will need a copy of their unique e-ticket for scanning purposes.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend for another cracking day at Tannadice.
