UNITED START SEASON WITH GOOD WORKOUT IN FIFE

The season is off and running as United took the opportunity to field 24 players in the first pre-season friendly at East Fife.

The game finished 1-1 after the 90 minutes with East Fife taking the lead in the first half through a Liam Smith own goal. United equalised in the 67th minute through Nicky Clark as Robbie Neilson took the opportunity to 'dust off the cobwebs' and allow the full squad who attended to experience game time.

Next up for United is a visit to Brechin on Friday night.
