PREVIEW
United disappointingly started the campaign with a 3-2 home defeat to Dunfermline while a two-goal comeback at Morton that allowed them to come home with a point will have buoyed Queens.
United went in at half-time a Nicky Clark goal to the good against the Fifers after a somewhat dull first half but suffered many woes in the second half as the Pars picked off United on three occasions before Fraser Aird's late free-kick consolation. Queens looked to be down and out at Cappielow when Morton went 2-0 up with 63 minutes on the clock but goals by Semple (69 minutes) and Todd (76 minutes). Indeed the Doonhamers could have taken all three points home as both Dobbie and Dykes went close in the remaining time.
Queens will, of course, be looking to start their home campaign with a victory while the Terrors have to look to bring three points up the road and kick-start what has been a very disappointing start to the season.
United look likely to be missing King, Murdoch, Booth, Fyvie and Toshney but may hope to have a new face in the travelling squad if the business can be completed in time.
