PRIZE FREEZE ON ALL OVER 16 SEASON TICKETS

Dundee United has announced a prize freeze on all adult, senior, under18 and student season tickets for season 2018/19.

Loyalty Period season tickets go on sale on Saturday 24 March at 9am.

The freeze, alongside other new initiatives, reinforces the Club’s commitment to ensuring affordable football at Tannadice.

For 2018/19, adults can again secure a season ticket for only £279 during the loyalty period which is equal to £15.50 per game. Senior season tickets start at £165 (just over £9 per game) and under18s and students at only £145 (just over £8 per game).

In response to a request from the Dundee United Supporters’ Liaison group, a new pricing category has been installed for under16s who can purchase a season ticket from only £65 - a fantastic £3.61 per game!

The under12 season tickets remain at £18 (£1 per game) but the package has been revamped to include membership of the Junior Tangerines and free coaching sessions at the Dundee United Community Trust (DUCT) flagship Junior Academy project.

Dundee United’s Head of Communications Joe Rice said, “This new season ticket package is the cornerstone of an era of commitment to two of the Club’s philosophy of community engagement and producing our own young talent through the Academy. The season ticket package for 2018/19 demonstrates the powerful commitment of the Club - through partnership with DUCT -  to reach out to the local community and schools, hopefully, like never before.

“Dundee United have also listened to feedback from the Dundee United Supporters’ Liaison Group and want to make football as affordable as we can for all United fans but it is also as important that we ensure future generations of fans and youth talent come along to Tannadice. One obvious concern was the price rise from under12s to under18s and our new under16s category makes football for 12-15–year-olds far more affordable - with existing 13-15-year-olds receiving a substantial discount this season on last year’s prices.

“The new revamped under12s package is exciting. With the help of DUCT, Dundee United Business Club and Dundee United Development Association, we are reaching deeper into the under12s local community to find the next generation of the Tangerine Army but also help to start future United players on the pathway to our academy.

“Under12s can still watch United from a £1 per game but the hope is that through the Junior Tangerines membership and Dundee United Junior Academy coaching scheme we can bring togetherness, inclusion and unity to many more Arabs under the age of 12 and start them on the path through the United Academy with the ultimate aim of them becoming professional footballers at Dundee United.”
