Next up for the Terrors is a home fixture versus Livingston. The game at takes place this Saturday at 3pm.
Livi suffered from the cold weather for three games running before seeing action during Tuesday's 0-0 home draw versus Falkirk. The lack of activity has seen the Lions slip down into fourth place but the challenge is still for David Hopkins men to see if they can continue to be this season's surprise package and maintain a challenge at the top of the table. They will come to Tannadice determined to lay down a marker for the second half of the season.
United come into the game as the League's form team with 16 points out of 18 and, while it was 0-0 when Saturday's visit to Palmerston was abandoned due to a frozen pitch, the Terrors were in scintillating form carving openings again and again during the first half.
Last time out between the sides saw United put in one of their most miserable performances of the season going down 2-0. The home team was well worth the victory that day and will use that to boost confidence ahead of the trip.
The referee for the match is Andrew Dallas and he will be assisted by David McGeachie and David Dunne.
