This coming Saturday sees United taken on a Greenock Morton team full of confidence.
The visitors come to Tannadice after a confidence-boosting couple of results. A turnaround 3-2 victory at home to Dunfermline last week was a prelude to a 2-1 victory away to QotS on Saturday. An early season 4-1 defeat of St Mirren and a 1-1 draw away at Inverness complete a picture of a team who will come to Tannadice confident of taking something home.
Only a 0-1 deficit at home to Livi and a 0-0 draw at Dumbarton blemish the early season report card for Jim Duffy's charges.
United come into the game searching for confidence albeit they sit only two points off the top of the table and boast a fantastic home league record of only one defeat since Ray McKinnon became Manager.
Defensively, there will have been a boost from the clean sheet at Falkirk although there will be concern about the lack of goals scored so far in the campaign.
Manager Ray McKinnon said, "We lacked a little belief in the final third at Falkirk. I have asked the guys to be brave and take chances up front.
"We have quality attacking players here and there are goals in this team. So I believe we will build on last week's clean sheet and possess more of a threat in the games ahead."
Tickets are available online, in person or by calling 01382 833166 (option 1).
On the day of the game, cash gates are open in the Eddie Thompson Lower and Jerry Kerr Stands and the ticket booth outside the George Fox Stand is open from 2pm until kick-off.
The game will also be available for non-UK/Ire fans on WATCH LIVE for £8.00 and ArabZONE members can LISTEN LIVE from 2.50pm.
The Singing Children of Africa will be performing at Saturday’s game; they will sing from 2pm outside the Club Superstore and then outside the main reception and within the George Fox concourse from 2.25pm as well as on the pitch at half time. Also in attendance within the concourses will be volunteers from Recovery Dundee.
