Falkirk Preview

United visit the Falkirk Stadium to take on Falkirk on Saturday with both teams searching for form.

United made a great start to the season with three successive wins before a heavy defeat at St Mirren and a disappointing home draw versus Dumbarton dampened the fans' enthusiasm.

Falkirk had an excellent Betfred Cup campaign and started the league campaign with high hopes and expectation. Three defeats and two draws are far from what the Bairns would like and this start sees them sit joint bottom of the table at this time.

A victory would be a much-needed boost for either team and both Managers are likely to set out their teams in pursuit of victory.

United should have a full squad to choose from and Scott Allardice, Scott Fraser, James Keatings, Willo Flood, Lewis Toshney and Mark Durnan all played a part midweek for the under 20s to gain some match fitness and could all be in contention.

United fans should attend the North Stand for entry on Saturday and admission is by pay-at-the-gate.
