UNITED SIGN JOE PIGGOTT

Dundee United today announced the signing, subject to international clearance,  of 18-year-old striker Joe Piggott on a two-year-deal.

Piggott is a product of Everton's youth academy and played for Rochdale. He has been training at St Andrews and played recently for the Under-20s in the Development League match versus Motherwell. 

Manager Ray McKinnon said, "Joe has impressed us in training. He is a strong lad and has high energy to complement his ability.

"I have no doubt he has the potential to continue his development here and push for a spot in our first team squad in the future.”
