Dundee United fans have responded to the arrival of the 2017/18 season by purchasing over 4,000 season tickets ahead of the start of the Ladbrokes Championship season on Saturday 5 August away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
With three full weeks until the first League fixture, the number of season tickets purchased by the Tangerine Army sits at 4,001.
Ray McKinnon's Terrors start the league campaign as Bookmakers' favourites with the goal of winning the Championship and United fans have renewed their tickets in anticipation of a successful season. There has also been an increase in new purchases this season - something that may also highlight the belief fans have in the squad which now includes seven summer signings.
James Keatings, Billy King, Thomas Scobbie, Paul McMullan, Patrick N'Koyi, Jordie Briels and Deniz have all joined the squad with others expected to follow.
Before the start of the league campaign, the Betfred Cup begins tomorrow with a home match versus Raith Rovers in the opening round of Group C fixtures. Admission is pay-at-the-turnstiles and adult prices are £10 and concessions £5.
Season tickets will remain on sale until Saturday 2 September and can be purchased
