Dundee United announced on Monday that midfielder Charlie Telfer had left the Club.
The midfielder, signed in June 2014, made his United debut as a substitute in a 3-0 victory over Aberdeen and made his first start for United against St Mirren in November 2014 when he scored his first goal in tangerine.
Charlie received the SPFL young player of the month in November 2014 and scored his second, and most iconic goal for the terrors against Dundee on New Year's Day 2015. Telfer scored number six in a 6-2 victory.
Under Mixu Paatelainen, Charlie was loaned out to Livingston until the end of the 2015/16 season, and under Manager Ray McKinnon he returned to the first team squad ending his time with a starting role in the Premiership play-off final defeat at Hamilton.
In all, CharlieĀ made 71 appearances and scored six goals for Dundee United.
Charlie said, "I am disappointed that my time at United has come to an end. I have enjoyed being part of this fantastic Club and have made many friends on and off the park.
"I wish I could have helped UnitedĀ back into the Premiership, and while I will look back on that with disappointment, I will always remember my time at Tannadice with great fondness and wish the Club all the best moving forward."
Everyone at Dundee United wishes Charlie all the best for his future career.
