After a decent display but in the end a frustrating afternoon on Saturday, the games come thick and fast when Dunfermline come calling to Tannadice on Tuesday night for another very important match for United.

United really should have beaten Falkirk on Saturday given the chances created but in the end they had to make do with a point. The positive was the chances that came their way and more of the same on Tuesday against the Pars will hopefully be enough to earn a win that would take the Terrors to within a point of Falkirk in 2nd place. United will need to be at their best as Alan Johnston's side come into the match after a win in the Fife derby over Raith Rovers and three points for the visitors would bring them to within six points of United.
United have had the upper hand this season against Dunfermline with two victories at Tannadice in the league and the league cup and a victory and a draw at East End Park.
Young Scott Allardice made a fine debut against Falkirk and he will be pushing for another start. Bell, Flood and Mikkelsen all managed to shake off knocks and play against the Bairns so it's likely these players will be assessed again closely. Long term absentees Dillon and Fraser are definitely out so the team selection on Tuesday should be interesting.
The business end of the season is now here and three points on Tuesday would be very welcome.
C'MON UNITED!!!!!!!!!
