UNITED SECURE LOAN STRIKER

Dundee United have secured the loan signing, subject to International clearance, of 26-year-old striker Thomas Mikkelsen from Odense Boldklub until the end of the season. The 6ft 2” Dane who joined OB in 2014 from FC Fredericia made his debut in August 2014 and scored his first OB goal in a 2-0 victory over Silkeborg.  He has played 24 times for OB scoring four goals. In 2015, Thomas joined IFK Göteborg on loan before returning to his parent club in the summer of 2016. This season he has featured in 14 games, scoring three times ahead of this loan period. Manager Ray McKinnon said, “He is a strong, aggressive player who is good in the air and I think he will add goals here between now and the end of the season. "He is fit and, subject to International clearance, will come right into the squad."
