Steve Aitken's Dumbarton are the opposition at Tannadice tomorrow as United look to continue their recent fine form and close the gap on Hibs at the top of the league.
By Tommy McKay
In the reverse fixture back in August, Dumbarton inflicted the first defeat of Ray McKinnon's tenure however in the seven league games since the Terrors have recorded four wins, two draws with one solitary defeat.
After a fantastic performance in last week’s 2-0 away win at St Mirren, the tangerine faithful will be hoping United can maintain their unbeaten home record in a run which has seen us score 18 goals conceding only eight.
With seven goals in seven games, on-loan attacker Tony Andreu will be let loose against the Sons after recovering from a training ground knock.
Following his late red card last time out against St Mirren, United will be without the suspended Mark Durnan.
After three successive games away from home, a large crowd is expected at Tannadice tomorrow with fans encouraged to temporarily forgo our beloved tangerine in support of the #wearitpink Breast Cancer Now campaign.
The team will be wearing their vivid pink third kit tomorrow and fans wishing to purchase this or the new pink scarf can do so from the club shop prior to kick off tomorrow when 10% of all profits from sales will be donated to the campaign.
C'mon United!!
