Dundee United today announced the transfer of defender Harry Souttar to English Premier League club Stoke City for an undisclosed fee.
The 17-year-old Academy graduate made his debut in the 3-3 draw with Partick Thistle in May 2016 and scored his only United goal in a 4-2 victory at Kilmarnock in the final game of the 2015/16 season.
Promoted to the first team squad by Manager Ray McKinnon ahead of the 2016/17 season, Harry leaves United having made four appearances for the first team, scoring once.
Dundee United thank Harry for his contribution and wish him every success in his future career.
