Ray McKinnon’s rebuild continues this afternoon with the season-long capture, subject to clearance, of striker Cammy Smith from Aberdeen.
The 20-year-old, who came through the Dons youth system, was part of the Aberdeen team which won the Granite City club its first silverware in 24 years by securing the League Cup in 2014.
Cammy is available for selection, subject to clearance, for the first competitive game of the season in the televised Betfred Cup group stage tie against Arbroath on Friday night at Gayfield.
Manager Ray McKinnon said, “I am delighted to bring Cammy into the Club. He is a fantastic young footballer whom I have worked with at the various Scotland levels. He will add quality to our forward area and he can play in any of the four forward positions.
“This signing adds more quality to our squad as we focus on the start of the competitive fixtures. ”
