Laurie Ellis Appointed Assistant Manager

Dundee United announce the appointment of Laurie Ellis as Assistant Manager on a three-year contract. The 37-year-old follows Ray McKinnon from Raith Rovers where he performed a similar role. A Rovers stalwart, Laurie played 395 times for the Kirkcaldy club in three spells between his debut in 1998 and 2015 following which his focus was more on the role of assisting McKinnon as the Rovers pushed for a play-off place in the Ladbrokes Championship. Manager Ray McKinnon said, “Laurie is a great professional; he is diligent and hard working and very passionate about his job. He is a fantastic coach and very motivated and he is the ideal person for me to bring as assistant and he will add so much to the coaching side of the Club.”
