2015/16 Ladbrokes Premiership Fixtures Announced

The opening weekend of the 2015/16 Ladbrokes Premiership will see United entertain North East rivals Aberdeen at Tannadice Park. United’s record on opening days in recent years has been excellent and you have to go back to 2008 to find the last opening day reversal for United in a 3-1 defeat to Hamilton. Last season saw the Terrors visit the Dons and come home with a resounding 3-0 victory. Other notable fixtures generated include an appetising home fixture versus city rivals Dundee on Wednesday 12 August and a home game versus champions Celtic on Saturday 22 August. The traditional ‘New Year's’ game will see us visit Dens for a derby on Saturday 2 January. Championship winners Hearts will visit Tannadice on 17 October and a return to Tynecastle for Arabs is in place for a ‘Hogmanay’ night on Wednesday 30 December. The pre-split fixtures will end with a home game versus Scottish Cup winners Inverness CT, scheduled for 9 April 2016. The full fixture list can be found here.
