On loan striker Simon Murray has been nominated for the PFA Scotland League Two Player of the Year award.
The 22-year old joins Arbroath team mate Bobby Linn, Queens Park’s Paul Woods and Shane Sutherland of Elgin City on the shortlist ahead of the dinner in Glasgow on Sunday 3rd May. Simon joined United in January 2015 and was immediately loaned back to Arbroath. He currently tops the SPFL League two standings with 17 league goals and is also Arbroath’s leading scorer in all competitions with 20 goals to his name.
