SEASON TICKET RECORD SALES

Sales of Dundee United season tickets are now fast approaching 5600, breaking the Club’s record number of 5500 season tickets set in 2005.   Director Derek Robertson said, “This is hugely encouraging for the Club. I’d like to thank all of our season ticket holders for supporting us in such numbers and to all of our staff involved in promoting and handling these record season ticket sales.   “The increase in season ticket numbers has understandably had a corresponding impact on certain operational matters. For example, due to the number of season ticket seats in the George Fox Lower Stand, entry to that stand has to be by ticket only from now on. And I hope supporters understand that the supply of tickets for the derby at Dens will not be anything like enough to satisfy all of our season ticket holders and that many will be disappointed. However the fact that there’s a derby at Tannadice just a few days later should, hopefully, make up for this disappointment.”
