Dundee United legend Dave Bowman is to return to his old Club to help coach the Tangerines' promising youngsters. Bowman, currently playing with Forfar, has accepted a part-time position back at United where he will help coach the Club's S-form signings two nights a week.
Bowman's new Tannadice commitments won't interfere with the continuation of his playing career at Station Park. "Dave has a wealth of experience as a player which will be invaluable to our young hopefuls," said United Manager Alex Smith. "Just as important - he's got United in his blood and can help us produce good young players in the traditional Tannadice mould."
Bowman's appointment to the coaching staff coincides with the arrival of a new clutch of S-form youngsters across Scotland this week. The new intake includes players from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow.
