Club matters have not been far away from the minds of Tannadice pair Alex Smith and Maurice Malpas despite them being on international duty with Scotland's Under-21 squad in Croatia.
Daily contact with leader of the stand-in squad back home, coach John Blackley, has kept boss Smith busy.
Explained Blackley,"He has been kept up-to-date on every aspect of the injury situation. That changes from day to day and will affect his thoughts on a side for the weekend game against Hearts."
