Better news on the injury front is that centre-back David McCracken is almost back to full fitness, although lack of match practice is likely to rule him out of contention for Saturday's home fixture with Hibs.
Midfielder Dave Hannah will be back in the squad but there is a concern over skipper Jason de Vos who has an infected toe at present. Boss Smith added, "Jason played away at Celtic Park on Saturday with the troublesome toe, and this week it's a case of monitoring how he is."
